Neuropsychological Assessment
Clinical neuropsychology is a specialty field within clinical psychology dedicated to understanding the relationships between brain and behavior. Neuropsychological assessment are conducted to identify and characterize cognitive and neurobehavioral symptoms associated with developmental, neurological, and/or psychiatric conditions. Testing is usually recommended when there are symptoms or complaints involving learning, memory, attention, executive functioning, language, or visuo-perceptual skills. Aspects of social and emotional functioning are also evaluated with objective measures and via clinical interviewing. Reports identify a diagnosis, describe areas of deficits, and facilitate treatment planning via individually tailored treatment recommendations. Our providers are bilingual and offer evaluation services in both English and Spanish.
